Add Asset Type Functions

Objective

Add functions to asset types to describe the functions these asset types perform.

How to add an asset function

1. From the On Key main menu, click Asset and Maintenance Plan Configuration > Asset Configuration > Asset Type Functions. The Asset Type Functions dashboard opens.
2. Click in the toolbar. The Create Asset Type Function screen opens.
3. Populate the required fields on the Overview tab.
4. Save the record.

Keep in mind

• An asset in the asset tree inherits the functions from the asset type on which it is based. Asset functions can also be configured directly on assets.
• Asset types can have multiple asset type functions.
