Create Work Orders For Alarms

Objective

Create work orders for alarms.

Before you begin

The following fields must be configured on the alarm type before you can create a work order for an alarm:

• default work order code
• default work order type of work
• default work order section.

How to create work orders for alarms

1. From the On Key main menu, click Asset and Maintenance Plan Configuration > Asset Health > Alarms. The Alarms dashboard opens.
2. Select one or more alarms to create work orders for.
3. Use the Create Work Orders for Alarms custom action in the Assist panel in the sidebar.

As a result

The work order is created and the work order code on the alarm is updated with the work order code.
