Document Screen
Data is captured on the following tab(s) of the edit screen: Overview. Below is a list of descriptions for the fields in the sections on each tab.
Overview
The Overview tab contains the following section(s):Header
- Entity: The entity to which the document record is linked.
- Document Record: The relevant document record.
- Copy Document Link: When a document is linked to a regular asset type task or regular asset task record, the user is prompted to specify whether the document link should be copied to any new work orders or work order tasks that are linked to the regular asset type task or regular asset task. Possible values are:
Do Not Copy Link
(default): The document link is not copied from the regular asset type task or regular asset task record to any newly linked work order or work order task record(s). The document will only be accessible from the regular asset type task or regular asset task Documents tab and from the Regular Asset Type Task- or Regular Asset Task Document dashboard.Copy Link to Work Orders
: The document link is copied from the regular asset type task or regular asset task record to all newly linked work order record(s) that include the original or inherited asset task. The document will be accessible from the work order Documents tab and from the Work Order Document dashboard.Copy Link to Work Order Tasks
: The document link is copied from the regular asset type task or regular asset task record to all newly linked work order task record(s). The document will be accessible from the work order task Documents tab and from the Work Order Task Document dashboard.
- Permission Tree: A field linked to a permission record in a permission tree, that determines whether a user has rights to access records and/or make changes to records. This is assigned by the system where possible.
- Sequence Number: The sequence in which the records are listed. Use the sequence number to list the records in a logical sequence.
- Is Active: Ticked if the record is active and available in lookup lists.
Development
- Development Status: The development functionality identifies and controls the different stages of development and the entity's inheritance information. This section is autopopulated and requires no user input.
- Is Inherited: Indicates whether this is an inherited record.
- Last Confirmed On: Date on which the record was last confirmed.
