Localisation Sets

Localisation sets are a grouping mechanism, used to manage and categorise localisation keys.

System-defined localisation sets are provided in On Key, by default. These existing sets can be viewed by a user.

Types of Sets

Localisation sets are classified by type. The following predefined types of sets are available in On Key:

  1. Messages
  2. Messages are localisation sets used to translate error and other system messages that are seen by a user.

  3. Phrases
  4. Phrases are localisation sets for content translations. In On Key, there are specific fields per entity that are marked as content-translatable, such as the Description and Notes fields, for example. The phrases localisation sets are used to translate content that's inserted on those standard fields.

  5. UI
  6. UI localisation sets are used to translate the labels and titles you can see on-screen, in On Key's user interface. These include menu bars, toolbars, tabs, screens, fields and so on. UI localisation sets are available for all modules in On Key.

  7. Value Lists
  8. Value lists are localisation sets used to translate the list of items in a list picker, such as work order statuses, for example.
