My Requisition Approvals

The My Requisition Approval screen provides a view of all requisition approvals assigned to the logged in user. The user can review and approve or reject requisition approvals from this screen. Batch approvals are possible using the Approve and Reject custom actions in the Assist panel in the sidebar.

Below is a list of descriptions for the fields in the sections on each tab. Refer to Approval Screen for more information.

Overview

The Overview tab contains the following section(s):

Header

  • Entity ID: The entity record for which this approval record has been generated.
  • Approval Entity: The entity for which the approval record has been created. On the My Requisition Approvals screen, the value will always be Requisition.
  • Approval Sequence Number: The sequence number configured on the approval workflow expression approval role.

Status

  • Reviewed By: On the My Requisition Approvals screen, Reviewed By is null as the approval has not yet been reviewed.
  • Reviewed On: On the My Requisition Approvals screen, Reviewed On is null as the approval has not yet been reviewed.
  • Status: The Status is Awaiting Approval as this is the default starting approval workflow status. The user will use the Set Status custom action in the Assist panel in the sidebar to update the status to Approved or Rejected.
  • Remark: On the My Requisition Approvals screen, the Remark is null as the approval has not yet been reviewed.
  • Is Historical: On the My Requisition Approvals screen, Is Historical is null as the approval is still applicable.

Details

  • Expression: The approval workflow expression.
  • Approval Role: The approval role that needs to review this approval.
  • Is Locked: Indicates whether the approval is ready to be reviewed for a specific approval role. The approval is locked if the linked approval role is higher on the approval hierarchy than another approval role that still needs to review the approval. Only once an approval is unlocked, can the approval role review it.
    Locked approvals are only relevant for approvals where the Approval Role Strategy is set to Sequential. Approvals with Approval Role Strategy set to Count Based can not be locked as roles can approve in any sequence.
