Notification Templates

Notification templates are used to build the notifications that are sent when a change data trigger is activated. Each notification template defines the type of notification that must be sent (the Output Type), who the notification must be sent to (the Audience) and the content included in the notification (the Body).

The notification template determines what information must be included in the notification message and enables you to specify a custom layout, as well as static and dynamic content.

Furthermore, notification templates are translatable. So, if you use phrase translations in the Subject or Body of the notification template, then they will be translated to the language you've specified when the notification is sent.

Notification Template Permissions

A user needs the following notification template permissions to use this functionality:

• View
• Lookup
• Insert
• Edit
• Delete
• Change Active
• Change Permission Tree.

Email Whitelisting

Email whitelisting can be used to temporarily overwrite and disable the audiences configured in On Key Plus. This feature is primarily used when configuring and testing notifications in On Key Plus. Email whitelisting is configured in the admin portal, please contact support for further information.
