Change Requisition Status

Objective

Change the status of a requisition during the different stages of its life cycle.

How to change a requisition status

  1. Open the requisition edit screen.
  2. Use the Set Requisition Status custom action in the Assist panel in the sidebar. The Change Requisition Status screen opens.
  3. Select the required status from the Status lookup and specify an optional reason for the status change in the Remark field.
  4. Click Accept.

To change the status of multiple requisitions

  1. From the On Key main menu, click Material Management > Requisitions > Requisitions. The Requisitions dashboard opens.
  2. Select all applicable records on the requisition dashboard's grid.
  3. Use the Set Requisition Status custom action in the Assist panel in the sidebar. The Change Requisition Status screen opens.
  4. Select the required status from the Status lookup and specify an optional reason for the status change in the Remark field.
  5. Click Accept.

Alternative way to change a single or batch of requisition statuses (available on the edit screen and dashboard)

  1. On the edit screen or dashboard, select a single or multiple requisitions.
  2. Click on the status icon in the toolbar.
  3. Select the required status from the dropdown list.

Note: Multiple requisitions in different statuses can be selected. When the new status is selected, the requisitions that were successfully changed will update. For the requisitions that were unsuccessfully changed, an error message will be displayed in the Messages panel.

As a result

The requisition status is changed and a requisition status change history record is created.
