Screen Designer

The screen designer provides the ability to customise create, edit and preview screens to suit the client's business needs. Fields, groups and tabs can be moved, added and removed; and field and group labels can be edited.

Once customised, these screens can be saved as profiles using the Profile menu in the sidebar.

Using the screen designer

The screen designer includes a widget list containing all the components and system fields that can be used in the customisation of a screen. These items are dragged from the widget list and inserted it onto the customised screen.

System fields and user defined fields can be added to any tab in a create or edit screen. User defined fields can be reordered or hidden on the User Defined Fields tab of a relevant entity; or the entire User Defined Fields tab can be hidden. Users can also define the tabs they want to see, the groups they want to see, the field order and field labels for the create, edit and preview screens of all entities in On Key.

The customised view is saved as a profile via the Profile menu in the sidebar. Once a user navigates to a customised screen and loads the profile, the changes made in the screen designer will reflect. Refer to Profiles for more information.
