Resource Contexts

A resource context provides context to the link between the site and the resource or the supplier and the resource. For example, UserX (the resource) is linked to SiteX (the site) in the context of a Manager (the resource context).

An example of how the resource context is used is if, for example, there is an oil spill at a certain site, the HSSE manager would be the correct resource to contact instead of the Operations manager. Without the context field, there would simply be a list of names with contact information but no context as to their link to the site.
