Work Order Complete All Tasks Log

The Work Order Complete All Tasks Log displays a list of all the work order tasks that the Complete All Tasks custom action was applied to. A reason is displayed for tasks that were not successfully completed.

Users are able to mark all tasks on a work order as complete. Additionally, all the tasks on multiple work orders can be marked as complete.

After applying Complete All Tasks on the assist panel, a Work Order Complete Task Log pops up with feedback about the pass and failure status of the tasks that were being completed. The log will pop up even when all tasks were completed successfully. Should a user prefer to view the log on a page, the log can be expanded. The log can also be accessed directly from On Key's main menu.

The records shown on the log window are editable - either by selecting a record and clicking on the Edit Task button on the toolbar or by double-clicking a record. This gives users the ability to complete failed tasks right there. After opening a record, a task edit screen opens on the first tab that has an error. The field with the error is clearly indicated. Once all the errors are resolved, the task can be completed under Feedback.

Match update functionality is available to edit failed tasks that have the same conditions.

Refer to Complete All Tasks on Work Orders for more information.

Complete All Tasks

Only work order tasks that are marked as complete via the Complete All Tasks custom action will be displayed on the Work Order Complete All Tasks Log. When a work order task is marked as complete manually, via the Completed checkbox, then the task will not be displayed here.

This custom action respects work order validations around tasks. So, the work order task will either be completed successfully or not, based on the work order rules.

Permissions

A user requires the Complete All Tasks On Work Order permission to perform the Complete All Tasks custom action. If a user does not have this permission and attempts to use the custom action, a system error will indicate that the user does not have the Complete All Tasks On Work Order permission.

There are also these permissions for the Log: View, Lookup and Delete.
